Ekaterina Venkina is a journalist from Moscow who specializes in foreign policy and international relations.
During her ten-year career, she has lived, worked and studied in six different countries, starting in Russia and ending in Sweden.
In 2007, she began her career in radio and two years later moved to a major Russian news agency. Over the next five years, she gained experience as a news editor and reporter in different formats and countries (in the US, UK and Belgium).
She has lived in Germany since 2014 and is part of the team that produces content for German public broadcasters abroad. She has written for Süddeutsche Zeitung, taz, WELTSEHER, Perspective Daily, The European, EUobserver and Ost Journal, among others.
